PURGE

Not So Silent: Dance Theatre

PURGE was a dance theatre exploration into how the human mind processes stress. Developed by Peter Kerry-Forbes, Jamie Cook and Ben Wellstood, it analysed aspects of social interaction and investigated how the acts of others can reflect on the physical body. PURGE touched on the unspoken conversations we have with ourselves on a daily basis, and abstracted them using movement, voice and sound to create a revealing narrative of the human condition. 
PURGE was created with the support of Dance City Commissions, and developed during Dance City's Creative Summer 2016. 

PURGE was a 'Not So Silent Dance Theatre' production.
